Vice President, Direct Marketing & Peer-to-Peer Fundraising

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Direct Marketing & Peer-to-Peer Fundraising based in the United States.

As Vice President, Direct Marketing & Peer-to-Peer Fundraising, you will lead strategies that expand individual giving and build sustainable fundraising programs for a mission-driven nonprofit supporting military and veteran-connected families.

You’ll oversee multichannel direct marketing, donor acquisition and retention, and innovative peer-to-peer campaigns that mobilize volunteers, ambassadors, and community members. Combining strategic leadership with a strong focus on measurable performance, you’ll set revenue goals, optimize campaign investments, and turn data into actionable insights.

You’ll work closely with Marketing, Development, and chapter teams to create cohesive donor journeys and strengthen long-term supporter relationships. This leadership role offers the opportunity to scale grassroots fundraising, develop high-performing teams, and deliver meaningful community impact.

The position follows a hybrid model in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and includes several overnight trips each year for organizational gatherings and fundraising events.
