VP of Engineering

The Role Wpromote is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the engineering organization responsible for Polaris, our client CRM and marketing intelligence platform. Polaris supports client and integration management, normalized marketing data, reporting, measurement, forecasting, optimization, anomaly detection, and client insights through internal and client-facing products.

This leader is accountable for engineering strategy, people, architecture, delivery, quality, reliability, security, and financial stewardship. The role sits on the Product Development Leadership team and partners closely with Product, UX, Data Science, Security, Finance, agency leaders, clients, and technology vendors. It requires executive judgment and strong technical depth. The VP must be able to lead through managers and senior engineers while remaining capable of stepping into architecture decisions, critical incidents, and unfamiliar technical problems when the business needs it.

You will scale the engineering organization, its leadership structure, and its development practices as Polaris grows in scope and complexity, as well as continue to push adoption of AI across software development and build the shared platform capabilities, tooling, and infrastructure that allow teams to ship faster while maintaining high standards for quality, reliability, and security.
