Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (AKS Platform) - Remote We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, automating, securing, and supporting enterprise Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes (AKS), Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and cloud operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can quickly adapt, take ownership of platform services, and drive engineering excellence.

Core Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Engineering ● Design, deploy, and support Azure resources and cloud infrastructure.

● Manage Azure services including:

o Application Gateway & Load Balancers o Azure Firewall & Private Endpoints o Compute services – VMs, App services, Function apps, Logic apps o Storage Accounts – blob, Fileshares o AI cognitive services – Foundry , Search and etc,. o Azure SQL, PostgreSQL o Key Vault o Azure DNS – Private DNS zones o Azure Monitor & Log Analytics o Virtual Networks, NSGs, Route Tables ● Implement Azure security, governance, RBAC, Managed Identities, and networking best practices.

Kubernetes & Containers ● Design, deploy, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. ● Manage cluster lifecycle, upgrades, scaling, security, and monitoring. ● Administration of Kubernetes Services – Dockerfiles, Deployment manifests and etc,. ● Support Helm Charts, Gateway API (Envoy), CSI Drivers, Workload Identity, and container platforms. ● Troubleshoot Kubernetes, application, networking, and storage issues.

Infrastructure Automation ● Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules. ● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and environment standardization. ● Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform operations.

Monitoring & Operations ● Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace. ● Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. ● Drive reliability, security, and cost optimization initiatives.

Required Skills ● Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security) ● Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) ● Terraform ● Azure DevOps Pipelines ● Helm Charts ● Docker & Containers ● Linux Administration ● Networking & DNS ● PowerShell, Bash, or Python ● Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Preferred Certifications – Good to have (Not Mandatory) ● Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator ● CKA/CKAD and Terraform Associate
